We had three types of oysters: birthday girls, top shelf, and southern belles. They were all excellent but our favorites were the birthday girls. We also got the crab dip with naan bread, seasoned peel and eat shrimp, snow crab legs, marinated cucumbers and the salmon crudo. It was an amazing feast and I also highly recommend the “New Fashioned” whiskey drink.

I visited this restaurant twice. The first experience was disappointing—our waitress was rude and inattentive, which really affected the vibe of the meal. Thankfully, I decided to give it another shot, and I’m glad I did. On the second visit, our waiter (a gentleman) was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Food-wise, most of the dishes were excellent, but I’d recommend skipping the lobster mac—it didn’t live up to the rest of the menu. Everything else we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, worth visiting, just be mindful that service may vary depending on who you get.

This place is phenomenal. The bloody Mary’s are on point and the selection of oysters is amazing. At least 10 different oyster selections from around the area. The dishes were packed with flavor and the staff if so professional providing great customer service. Love IT

Atlantic on Pacific is a wonderful Tapas restaurant on Pacific Ave in Virginia Beach. They have an amazing selection of many local oysters, as well as a few Canadian varieties in raw or cooked form, and shucked perfectly. Their menu lists so many wonderful creations that it is hard to choose a favorite. All the dishes I had showcased beautifully balanced flavors and great presentations. The hushpuppies were perfectly fried and moist. They also offer a very nice wine selection to pair with your meal. This is a must try restaurant if you are visiting the area. The service is great and the atmosphere is perfect. Well within walking distance from the hotels and beach.

What a great happy hour! We sat at the bar and had 1 fried oysters and sampled almost all of their other oysters. Sangria was great. Sweet potato ham sliders yummy. Service impeccable.

We saw this place was recommended on Reddit for a good oyster happy hour. Safe to say we were not disappointed! I don’t usually order baked oysters, but the Oyster Rock was phenomenal. Perfectly cheesy without being oily, paired a lot better with the oyster than I thought. Oysters run at 1 each for happy hour. We ordered Virginia raw oysters as well, which I thought were okay. There was some brown gunk on the oysters, which I assume are the guts (hopefully not mud). Haven’t seen anything like that on other raw oysters I’ve had. Burgers with fries were 6 on the happy hour menu, honestly one of the best happy hour burgers I’ve had! Meat was well cooked and juicy, fries were perfectly crispy. Highly recommend ordering a sangria and IPA off their happy hour as well. We spent a total of 40 and left very satisfied! Alex was a great waiter and answered all our questions regarding oysters on their menu. He even mentioned something about the salinity of the oysters! Downsides include fairly long wait (as expected), we sat ourselves at the bar which saved us some time. Valet parking is offered, but we were able to find street parking. I would definitely visit this restaurant again!

I came here for the happy hour (3 pm - 6 pm) after reading all the reviews online. A clear winner. The 6 double smash burger was sensational, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The Oysters Rock were sublime ! A definite recommendation. The old bay oysters were enjoyable, as well as the Oyster Chesapeake. I ordered Steamed Clams, which were tasty, but I personally preferred the Oysters. The interior design is very appealing, and service is seriously top-notch. Ivy was an amazing waitress; professional, quick, and very attentive. One thing to note is the parking. It is valet only, and they work off tips. There is no set price. We ended up parking street side nearby. It's just something to consider as it may be a slight inconvenience. All in all, The Atlantic is a definite must!

The Atlantic on Pacific was a fantastic choice for a night out! My friend and I started with their fresh oysters, which were absolutely amazing—perfectly chilled and bursting with flavor. We also tried a few of their unique appetizers, and each one was a delightful surprise with creative flavors and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was chic yet inviting, and the service was top-notch. It’s a great spot for anyone who loves seafood and innovative dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
